Leinster Dressage  2010

The venue for all or our Winter shows will be Killossery Lodge Stud, Rolestown, County Dublin,
by kind permission of Frank and Laura Glynn. All shows are run under Dressage Ireland Rules.  It is essential in the interest of safety that the directions of the stewards, the organisers and committee members are followed at all times.

Entries must be prepaid and in writing on official Dressage Ireland entry forms and sent to: Paul Meehan, Killallon Road, Clonmellon, Co. Meath. All cheques made out to Leinster Dressage please. No phone/text or late entries will be accepted.

Dressage Ireland members €20 all classes Membership and horse registration numbers must be submitted with the entry form.

Non-members of Dressage Ireland We are running Amateur Classes at Preliminary level. Class 1 is for children (under 16 years on 1 January 2009) riding ponies and Class 2 for adults for unregistered riders. They can also enter the registered classes Hors Concours (H/C). All unregistered riders need to include an additional €5 with their entry fee for the day's insurance (please note if entering more than one class, the €5 charge is for the day, not per class).

Leagues There will be league prizes for Pony, Amateur, Preliminary, Novice and one covering Elementary and above. Points will be awarded for attendance and placings. To qualify for the league you must attend two shows plus the final however points for all shows will count for final placings. For full details please see www.leinsterdressage.com

Declaration
All competitors must declare at the show office prior to riding and collect their bridle number, showing their current membership card to the Secretary. Members who fail to produce their card on the day will be required to pay the €5 temporary membership fee to cover day insurance. No horse will be allowed to enter the warm up or competition arena without its correct bridle number.

Withdrawals
In the event of a competitor being unable to attend at any stage, including the day of the show, they must ring the show secretary and withdraw.
Failure to do so may incur a fine (as per DI rules) and refusal of entries for subsequent shows.

If weather conditions are particularly bad the committee reserve the right to cancel or abandon any show at short notice. If the weather is doubtful please phone 086 320 6390 before leaving home.
